PROJECT PRIORITIES  A new Law Enforcement Center to be located downtown near the County Courthouse which would meet current needs and allow for future expansion.

SOLUTION  Marion County’s new 124-bed  Jail and Sheriff’s Department  illustrates how a compact, radial/podular GGA design works efficiently even on tight sites requiring mid-rise construction. By carefully planning the elevator, kitchen and visitation areas within visual supervision from central control, little, if any, additional staff is required, compared to a low rise concept. Located near the County Courthouse downtown, the exterior blends with adjacent public architecture and allows for future expansion.
