PROJECT PRIORITIES The Buchanan County Jail consists of two separate housing units with a capacity of 224-beds. While the facility has served the community well for many years, updates were needed to incorporate today’s diverse classifications into the existing facility.

SOLUTION This facility lacked adequate evaluation and diagnostic space to be used during intake and booking. GGA was able to assist the County by reutilizing an existing indoor activity space to create four padded cells for special needs and evaluation.
