Bourbon County Law Enforcement Center

Project Background and Priorities

After nearly five years of effort, including consideration of 22 different sites, Bourbon County succeeded in moving ahead with its much-needed Law Enforcement Center and K-9 unit.

Solution

GGA designed a new 74-bed Law Enforcement Center which could be expanded to 90-beds in the future. The facility included a Sheriff’s Department which successfully addressed growing administration needs, County Communications. Future detention needs were anticipated with the inclusion of a shelled Housing pod for 16-beds.
