PROJECT PRIORITIES Design a new Youth Detention and Treatment Center for multiple levels of youth offenders which could be expanded for future needs.
SOLUTION A new juvenile facility allows for flexible distribution of youth offenders into five distinct groups: secure detention, secure treatment, special needs, status offenders and short term holding/observation. The efficient and cost-effective building structure includes metal cells with special vandal-resistant coatings and individual showers arranged into separate pods for classification flexibility, safety and ease of expansion.
